You know, I've been trying to get back into writing for the past couple of months. At times, it doesn't work so well. I'm taking Journalism and I can get good grades [for the most part], so why is it when I want to do something for myself, it won't allow me to? The only time I was able to finish a piece was in my freshman year and you want to know what the subject was? InuYasha.

Oh yeah, I was cool kid back then.

I have to set up some goals for myself after graduation. I don't necessarily mean college goals, but I mean one goal for myself. One goal was always to learn another language and be damn good at it. What good is a 91/B in Mandarin Chinese if I've now forgotten a lot of it and I use the same words every day? Having people on Soompi translate phrases for you than only go so far.

My main goal for the year was Korean. I have a book (hey, Bobby!), but it's hard to follow through with it in this semester. Having English books to read and other subjects to study can really put a toll on things I want to do for myself. Hopefully, when my high school career ends, I can finally work on it. It would still be easier if there was some actual class and actual teacher to teach me though. I know the majority of the hangeul, I just need to know more.

With that being said, I need to finish Red Scarf Girl and the other books I've bought since Christmas and received.

The fourolds and Red Guards in China were quite the interesting bastards.
